OTROS: La Fringecup es una planta nativa de EE. UU. llamada así por sus flores, cuyos pétalos tienen muchos flecos. Las flores comienzan siendo de color blanco verdoso y maduran hasta casi púrpura. Las flores aparecen en tallos sobre hojas vellosas en forma de corazón. El follaje de la Fringecup es similar al de las campanillas de coral. Sus hojas grandes pueden medir hasta 10 cm de ancho y son perennes en climas cálidos. Es una excelente cubierta vegetal ornamental para zonas boscosas húmedas o riberas de arroyos. También crece bien en macetas.
