OTROS: El marrubio de agua americano es una hierba originaria de Estados Unidos y Canadá. Recibe el nombre de bugleweed (hierba de lobo) porque sus flores parecen cornetas. Las flores florecen en racimos a lo largo del tallo, sobre hojas muy lobuladas. Las flores proporcionan néctar a mariposas y abejas. El marrubio de agua prefiere condiciones muy húmedas y puede crecer en pantanos, prados húmedos, riberas de arroyos, orillas de estanques o macetas. Se adapta bien a suelos arcillosos y es resistente a ciervos y conejos.
