Día 12: Practicando el Autocontrol / Day 12: Practicing Self-Control

Day 12: Practicing Self-Control
Galatians 5:22-23 (NIV): "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law."
Introduction:
Today, we’re focusing on the fruit of self-control. Whether it’s in our thoughts, emotions, or actions, self-control helps us avoid falling into negative habits or patterns. Let’s explore how we can allow the Holy Spirit to help us practice self-control in our everyday lives.
- Learn:
- Self-control is a fruit of the Spirit, which means that it’s not something we can develop on our own. It requires the work of the Holy Spirit within us. Reflect on how practicing self-control in your thoughts, emotions, and actions can lead to peace and balance.
- Reflect:
- Is there an area of your life where you struggle with self-control—whether in your thoughts, actions, or reactions? How can you invite the Holy Spirit to help you grow in this area?
- Practice:
- Choose one specific area where you will focus on practicing self-control today. Whenever you feel tempted to act impulsively, pause, pray, and ask the Holy Spirit for guidance.
- Share:
- What area of your life are you working on with self-control today? How did it go, and how did it feel to invite the Holy Spirit into that process?
