OTHER: Wedding Candles Verbascum is native to Europe. They have a long bloom period, & will rebloom during the season. Super showy flowers cover tall spikes that rise above the foliage. Wedding Candle’s flowers are white with pinkish-purple stamens that have orange anthers.
Verbascum provides an important source of nectar for honey bees, & of course butterflies love them! The flowers are also great for cutting for flower arrangements. The plants are deer resistant & able to tolerate some drought once they are established. They are cold hardy to Zone 5, but will reseed themselves for new plants the following spring in cooler climates as well.
