OTROS: A diferencia de la mayoría de las Heucheras modernas, criadas para obtener follaje de colores llamativos, las flores de las Splendens son la verdadera joya. Si bien su hermoso follaje verde es muy atractivo, son los tallos de sus flores, más grandes, vistosas y de un rojo brillante, los que realmente resaltan. Las fragantes flores brillan sobre el follaje bien agrupado para atraer abejas y mariposas. Si bien esto podría sorprenderle si conoce las flores típicas de las Heucheras, estas son tan fabulosas que también son excelentes flores de corte. Estas plantas semiperennes crecen con cualquier tipo de luz, desde el sol hasta la sombra, se desarrollan bien en macetas y son resistentes a los ciervos.
(Heuchera 'Splendens' y 'Vivid' son bastante similares entre sí. La mayor diferencia es la altura, y tienen una resistencia y un tono de rojo ligeramente diferentes).
