The plants are quite ornamental, with large 5 – 8” seed sprays. They are beautiful in dried arrangements, with Lime Light being the most popular type. Millet is also a great way to attract a wide variety of birds to your yard! They adore the seeds & look too cute bouncing on the arching stems while they snack away. Lime Light tolerates drought well, grows quickly, & is not picky about soil type.

OTHER: The Mennonite Sorghum is an heirloom variety that produces a sweet, light colored syrup. It produces an excellent yield and has nice sturdy thick stalks. The seeds can also be ground into flour. Mennonite is worth its weight in gold!
